"Beyond the Table: Bibimbap Project" is an ongoing exploration inspired by traditional Korean table manners and the concept of breaking conventions. Stemming from childhood memories of structured dining rituals, this project challenges the notion of functional bowls confined to tables. By scaling up the size of the bowl from the previous "Off the Table: Bibimbap Project," the sculptural object transcends its utilitarian purpose, inviting contemplation on the evolving nature of eating practices and human interaction with food. Through "Beyond the Table: Bibimbap Project," viewers are invited to consider the fluidity of tradition and the potential for innovation in culinary and sculptural realms alike.
