Ice Block Practice2020
water and face masks 8" x 5" x 4" By slowing down with the icing process and the use of nature, I wanted to make something about how we experience during these pandemic times and give some hope to it. This is originally intended to encourage people to stay in quarantine to establish a positive and safe future. The ice block is a metaphor of the human body, and as it melts, the used mask reveals which symbolizes the freedom that we hope in this period of time. Documentation in the bathtub gives the illusion of being at home for the audience which personalizes the viewing experience.
